Pickup, Freight Shipping and Delivery Guidelines
Thank you for choosing Stone House Grain as your trusted supplier of high-quality feed and grain products. To ensure a smooth and efficient shipping or pick-up process, we offer three types of shipping/pick-up options. We have a 5 business day lead-time for all orders. Please review the guidelines below to determine the appropriate method for your order.
Single Bags, Pallets and Totes
- Pick-Up is available for Single bag feed orders, 1 ton of palleted bags, and 1 ton totes only.
- Customers are required to bring appropriate transportation to support the ordered quantity, whether it's single bags, palleted bags, or totes.
- A 1 ton minimum per feed type is required for bulk pickup. For pick ups of more than 1 ton of the same feed we will only fill ONE container (i.e. a wagon or multi-ton bin). We will NOT fill multiple containers.
- Please allow up to 5 business days for your order to be processed and ready for pick up.
- Walk-in customers are welcome for single bag orders. Payment will be due at the time of pick-up for walk-in orders.
Palleted Bags and Totes
- LTL Freight is available for 1 ton paletted bag and 1 ton tote orders only.
- Single bag orders cannot be shipped via LTL Freight.
- Stone House Grain offers Less Than Truck Load (LTL) Freight via R+L Freight.
- Please allow for up to 5 business days for your order to be completed and ready to ship.
- Freight quotes will be generated automatically during checkout based on the weight and destination address of the shipment.
- All freight is shipped on palettes.
- Please note that lift gate access on the trucks is not included in the quotes. Customers are responsible for having equipment to remove palettes upon delivery.
Bulk Feed Orders
ALL NEW BULK DELIVERY CUSTOMERS MUST BE PREAPPROVED.
- Contact the sales office for a bulk delivery application.
- This service is available for bulk orders of grain and feed only.
- We provide local delivery within a 50-mile radius of the farm address (subject to approval).
- A minimum of 3 Tons of feed per order is required for local delivery.
- A minimum of 1 ton bulk per feed type is required.
- A minimum of 1 ton bulk per feed type is required for bulk pickups. For pick ups of more than 1 ton of the same feed we will only fill ONE container (i.e. a wagon or multi-ton bin). We will NOT fill multiple containers.
- Bulk delivery orders MUST be placed by noon on the Tuesday of the week PRIOR to delivery.
- Delivery costs are calculated based on your zip code within the 50-mile farm radius.
